LAYERS OF THE EARTH
There are four main layers on Earth. The first layer is called the Crust and it is the thinnest layer of the Earth. The second is the Mantle and it is the thickest layer of earth's crust, it's divided into two parts but the mantle is made up into one. The third layer is the Outer Core and the Outer Core is made up by composed iron and liquid. The final layer is the Inner Core, it is the hottest and deepest part of the Earth.
CRUST
The Crust is the most outer layer of the Earth. It's made up of mostly water, Basalt and Granite. Also composed of silicon, aluminum, sodium, and potassium. The crust is divided into continental, which drift slowly every year. Under the ocean it is about 3.7 km deep and under the land it is about 25-90 km thick. The crust is the coolest because it's the farthest from the inner core.
MANTLE
The Mantle is divided into two parts which is called the asthenosphere and is aplastic like fluid. This is were the convection currents occurs and it's when the lava in the mantle swishes around and rumbles. The rest of the mantle is made up of dense rocks. The bottom is about 7000F deep and the upper is about 1300F deep.
OUTER CORE
This layer is thought to be a liquid composed by Iron and Nickle. The Outer Core is the second thickest layer. The Outer Core is one of the hottest layers of the Earth next to the Inner Core.
Inner core
This solid layer is composed of Iron and Nickle cement. The Inner Core is about 15000F deep. This layer is the second thinnest layer out of all the earth layers. The inner cote layer is the hottest part of earth and it will probably take centuries to come up with the right technology to have a machine go in the earth and test all of the rocks and minerals.
